Meet our Director of Operations

Director of Operations Dena Anderson brings 6 years experience as a lead teacher and over 15 years of experience mentoring youth in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Spending 5 years in foster care as a child, she was adopted by founder Maynard Howe’s sister and her husband. This experience gives her unique insight into the needs of under served and foster youth.  Dena believes the support & opportunities she was given by loving adults inspired her to pursue a career in teaching and social services, enabling her to help youth and families reach their greatest potential.   

Dena has two amazing teenage children, and has raised them herself after their father passed away at a young age.
